Lillian Elaine Newby Freytag passed away February 16, 2022 in Cumberland County, TN. She was born August 22, 1922 in Kentucky.
She retired from Bell South in Orlando, FL.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Minnie Pearl Wise Newby and William Bill Newby; brother, Joseph Bill Newby; husband, John David “J.D.” Freytag of 54 years.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Newby of Danville, KY; daughter, Jo Nell Freytag Davis and husband, Edward; granddaughter, Laura Scott; grandson, John Russell “Rusty” Scott and wife Shelly; great granddaughters, Andrea Turk and fiance’ Russell Lombardi, Samantha Perkins and husband, Tim; great great grandson, Peyton Perkins.
