Lillie Vanderpool

Mrs. Lillie Vanderpool , 91, Lancing, passed away Thursday, December 20 in The Life Care Center of Morgan County. She was born January 22, 1921 in Crawford, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ross Vanderpool, her parents: John and Della Hollars and several brothers and sisters.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior early in life and she was a long time member of Pilot Mountain Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her Daughter: Kay Stringfield and Son-In-Law Ernest of Lancing
Son: Gary Vanderpool and Daughter-In-Law Lynn of Winterville, NC
Step-Son: Donald Vanderpool of Helenwood
Grandchildren: Angie Harlan and Sarah Radley
Step Grandchildren: Teresa Byrd and Charles (Chuck) Vanderpool
Great Grandchildren: Bethany Harlan and Derek Harlan
Sisters: Louise Smith of Wartburg, Agnes Powell of Hillsborough, Ohio
Brothers: Dooley Hollars of Marion, Indiana and Bill Hollars of Anderson, Indiana
Several Nieces and Nephews

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Pilot Mountain Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow with Bro. Charles Webb officiating. Interment will follow in the Pilot Mountain Cemetery .
