Lois Blaschak

Mrs. Lois "Jenny Wren" Blaschak, age 83 of Lancing, went home to be with her Lord on July 19, 2013 after a long illness, Jenny was surrounded by her loving family whom she loved very much. She was a faithful Christian who loved her Lord. Jenny Wren was an accomplished author of many books, loved painting, and writing poetry and had a love of music and loved playing the organ. Jenny never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her parents: James Madison and Arizona Herndon, husbands: Cager D. Howard, and Walter Blaschak, daughter: Freda Babinski, brothers; John Wesley, William J., Charles Casto, Rufus, Thomas, and Hayden Clark Rice. Sisters: Lillie Mae Sanders, Jessie Lee Hamby, Lou-Anna Rice, Nellie Beatrice Seletyn and Mattie Louise Riser,

She is survived by Daughter Lou Whitson and husband Curtis of Lancing

Grandchildren: Audrey Korgan & husband Michael of Florida
Angela Humphries & husband Don of Lancing
Jarrod Whiston & wife Cyndy of Harriman
Lindsey Johnson & husband Andrew of Murfreesboro
8 great grandchildren: Brittany, Michael, Faith, Brock, Tyler, Nate, Mathew & Ari

Also surviving are a many nicest & nephews and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 22, 2013 from 6-8 pm Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg. Funeral services will follow with Bro. Rick Taylor officiating. The family will also be receiving friends on Wednesday July 24, 2013 from 1-2 pm at the Tyrlee Funeral Home Oak Hill, West Virginia, graveside services will follow in the High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, West Virginia with Bro. Walter Webb officiating.
