Lois Ann Lavender, age 73, got her angel wings on April 1, 2020. She was born December 16, 1946.
She is preceded in death by her mother Patricia Miller; father, Andrew Lamberger.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Larry Lavender of Deer Lodge; brother, Andrew Pratscher of Hobart, Indiana; she also leaves behind 2 daughters, Nicole Gulsby and Tom Brassard of Sarasota, FL.; youngest grandson, Jeremy Alan Gulsby and youngest daughter, Kelly Soal and Raymond of Louisiana, before Jeremy there were 3 grandchildren, Anna, Julie and Rickie; 9 great grandchildren.
She always said her claim to fame was winning the State Championship and 4th place National Champ in roller skating in 1960. She enjoyed dancing, crocheting and keeping a birthday club where she mailed out over 100 birthday and anniversary cards each year. She treasured her best friends, Leona, Kathy and Diana. She had so many special people in her life, Tru, Regan and Christian. She also had two step daughters, Tammy Lloyd and Jolene Jones, who shared 15 years of the Lavender family with her along with 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and 1 on the way. She had a ridiculous sense of humor, loved laughter and making people smile and laugh. She worked 25 years at Brushy Mountain Prison and was a kind and loving lady.
In light of current events, the family understands that not everyone feels comfortable coming out to show their respects. The family will have a graveside service Friday, April 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Deer Lodge with Chaplain Greg Bennett officiating.
