Lonnie Burgess

Mr. Lonnie L. Burgess, age 85 of Harriman, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in the Life Care Center of Wartburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Sam Houston Sr. and Dovie Isham Burgess. Sister; Jessie Winters and Essie Burgess,
brother; James Lester Burgess and Reuben Paul Burgess.
He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Harriman and was retired from Norris Creamery after many years of service.
Mr. Burgess is survived by wife of 60 years; Edith Hallcox Burgess
Daughter and son-in-law; Donna and Fred Snow
Granddaughter; Alison Snow, Grandson; Heath Snow and wife Samantha,great-grandson; Cade Ryan Snow.
Brother; Sam Houston Burgess Jr. and wife Mary and many special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 9, 2010 from 12 noon to 2:00 P.M. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. John Underwood and Rev. Bill Young officiating. Interment will follow in Harriman City Cemetery.
