Lou Adkisson Harris, of Petros, TN

Nella “Lou” Adkisson passed away August 16, 2019 at her home in Petros, TN.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Lily Adkisson; son, Jerry "Jug" Adkisson; brothers: Harold, Don, Woody, and Larry Adkisson; sisters, Mazie Thornton and Nick Wormsley.

She is survived by her sons: Terry “Saw” (Patti) Adkisson; Keith (Etta) Adkisson; Gregory “Snake” (Janet) Adkisson; and Brad (Veronica) Adkisson.

Grandchildren: Lee, Chelsea, Forrest, and Luke Adkisson, and Ashley Howard

Great grandchildren: Lillie, Cameron, and Shepard Adkisson.

Sister, Lana (Gerald) Taylor

Along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Lou enjoyed making crafts, camping, and spending time with her family and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday August 19 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. The funeral will follow at 7:00 with Dr. Jim West officiating. Grave side service will be held August 20 at 10:00 a.m. at the Old Petros Cemetery (behind Petros Baptist Church).
