Loudevene Bowles

Loudevene (Ward) Bowles, age 82, of Wartburg passed away September 24, 2025, peacefully at her home.

She was born on July 8, 1943 to Lester and Tencie Ward.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Evelyn Tutor (Jesse), Lester Ward, Jr., Clovis “Jake” Ward and wife Glenda, Claudine Ward “Baby”, and Troy Ward “Ilon”.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years Norman D. Bowles; sister Mona (Cricket) Human; sister-in-law Louise & Greg Labotsky and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 29, 2025 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the New Petros Cemetery in Petros.
