Louis McPeters, of Wartburg, TN

Louis H. McPeters Sr., age 93, of Wartburg passed away peacefully and went to his heavenly home October 17, 2019.  Louis was known throughout the community whom never met a stranger.  He was also know for his great sense of humor.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Aurther and Grace Alice McPeters; brothers, George Vernon, William Clyde, Everett A., James Clifton, Conrad, Gilbert Roland, William Author Jr. and Leon; sisters, Margaret June, Mae Agnus, Gladys Adelaide, Maggie Joyce and Edith; son, Louis Jr.

He is survived by  his brother, Thomas McPeters; children, Alan, Mickey (Linda), Jesse Dale (Debbie), Clifton, Robin and John (Marta); grandchildren, Tim, Michael, Jessica, Joanna, Brian, Aaron, Ashley, Amanda and Leah and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 18, 2019 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Ralph Nance officiating.  Graveside services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Flat Fork Cemetery in Wartburg.
