Lovalene K. Heidel
September 16, 1935 – October 8, 2024
Lovalene K. Heidel, 89, of Wartburg passed peacefully on October 8, 2024. She fought a brave battle with God by her side.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Ellis Heidel: parents Elmer and Maude Kearney of Sunbright, TN.; brothers Tommy C. Kearney, Elmer R. Kearney, Clifton Kearney and sister Betty Cox.
Lovalene is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Tanuja and Johnny Dagley; grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Jonathan and Meghan Elizabeth Dagley and Justin and Meghan Marie Dagley; great granddaughters Braylee, Preslyn, Teylee, and Jonalyn and great grandson Creed; Gerrie Keck of Tipp City, OH and Harley Barnhart of Wartburg; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Lovalene was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wartburg. She attended business school in Chattanooga, TN. She was employed in banking for over 40 years, having worked in various capacities at Sunbright Bank, Citizens Bank, Union Planters Bank and Regions Bank. She met a lot of people and made a lot of friends working in the public. She really loved her job. “Lovee” enjoyed all the road trips and cruises she and Ellis took with her family and friends. She loved all her grands and great grands so much, she always enjoyed attending and cheering for her grandsons and great grand girls sporting events. She enjoyed watching all UT sports.
The family sends deep appreciation and heart felt "Thank You" to Quality Hospice and the Life Care Center of Morgan County caregivers for the love, care and kindness given to Lovalene during her illness. Each of you are very special people.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 12, 2024 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wartburg from 9:00-11:00 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Graves officiating. Interment will follow in the Wartburg City Cemetery in Wartburg.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Pre-School.
