Luretha Comer

Mrs. Luretha Barger Comer (Peg) age 98, passed away Wednesday October 31, 2012 at Life Care Center in Wartburg. She was born October 25, 1914 and was a lifelong resident of Petros, TN. She worked in the Shipyards in Baltimore, Maryland during World War II and retired from Eastern State Hospital as a Nurse.
Mrs. Comer was a member of Union Baptist Church for over Fifty Years. She is preceded in death by her Husband: Clyde Comer,
Parents: Sam and Melinda Williams Barger,
Three Sisters: Beulah Comer (Bill), Dallas Taylor and Dorothy Henry,
Brother: Frank Barger
and Brother-In-Law: Paul Comer

Mrs. Comer is survived by One Brother-In-Law - Carl Comer
Many Nephews, Nieces and Great Nephews and Nieces

A Graveside Service will be held in the Union Church Cemetery at 2:00PM on Saturday, November 3, 2012 with Bro. Don Long Officiating. Schubert Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
