Martha Collins of Wartburg, TN

Martha B. Collins, age 80, left us for her heavenly home on February 5, 2019.  She was a faithful member of Pilot Mountain Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She also served her community for many years as a florist.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David J. Collins; parents, Fred and Nannie Kidd; brothers, Herman, Hobert, Leamon and Darrell and 1 sister, Thelma.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Collins of Wartburg; daughter and son-in-law, Edwina (Tim) Nelson; grandchildren, Christina (Josh) Hancock, Jessica (Brad) Thomason, Tony Collins and fiance’, Brooke, Jason (Jessica) Nelson, Travis (Ashley) Nelson; great grandchildren, Madyson, Mason, Jase, Gracie, Aaron Hancock, Otto, Alice and Laykin Nelson, Sicilee Thomason and Averie Hall; brother, Joe Kidd of Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Pilot Mountain Missionary Baptist Church in Lancing from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Bro. Josh Baldwin and Bro. Charles Webb officiating. Interment will follow in the Lane Cemetery in Lancing, TN.
