Mary Duncan, of Wartburg, TN

Mary Duncan, age 93, passed away September 17, 2020 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.  She retired from Morgan County Head Start after 48 ½ years and everyone knew her as “Ms. Mary”.  She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church for many years and was over the nursery class there.  Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, and great mother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Swint and Rose Edna Leopper; 2 brothers and 1 sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Keith) Riggs; grandchildren, Michelle (Max) Dulzak, Jasper Ellison, Amanda Ellison and Heather Ellison and fiancé, Daniel; great grandson, Bryson Borum and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will have a graveside service at Morgan Memorial Gardens in Wartburg at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2020 with Bro. Mike Higgins officiating.
