Mary Lawson

Mrs. Mary Elnora Melhorn Lawson, age 74 of Wartburg passed away on March 2, 2012 in the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was retired from General Motors & Saturn. She was also a former paper carrier for the Knoxville News Sentinel and The OakRidger. Preceded in death by her parents Ben and Vesta Melhorn; brothers: Clyde Jones, Elijah, Herman, Clay, Roger, Robert, Rudolph, Edd & Charles Melhorn; Sister: Ann Stanfill Son: Jack Ridge, Jr.

Surviving is husband Jerry Lawson, Sr.
Daughters: Linda & husband Danny Folsom Joliet, IL
Paula Jandejska of Joliet, IL
Son: Jerry Lawson, Jr. of Columbia, TN
Grandchildren: Sarah & Paul Jankejska
Brothers: Otto Melhorn
Ralph & wife Yvonne Melhorn
Also surviving is a host of other friends and relatives.

The family will receive friends Tuesday March 6, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8 pm with Pastor Stephan Skov officiating.
