Michael D. Burchfield

Micheal David Burchfield, age 50, of Wartburg, passed away on May 20th 2025, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge after a short illness.

He was born on December 3, 1974 to James Ronald Burchfield and Derita Kay Overton in Ft. Knox, Ky,

Micheal was survived by 3 daughters Tiffney Gail Woodward and husband, Dillon of Mossy Grove, 3 grandchildren Casey Ray, Aslin Nichalos, Eva Irene; daughter Samantha Nichole Burchfield of Mossy Grove and stepdaughter that was more of a daughter, Caitlyn Watson of Petros. He is also survived by the love of his life, of 10 years, Jeanne Duncan and the mother of his daughters Patricia Burchfield of Mossy grove; mother Derita McCulloch of Wartburg; brother James Burchfield of Wartburg; 2 sisters Linda and Fred Windham of Wartburg and Amy and Ed Garth of Kentucky; grandparent Imogene Burchfield and special niece and nephew Donnavin and Craig McCulloch. And a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by grandparents James William Burchfield, Novella and Arlie Overton;

father and stepmother James and Barabra Burchfield; stepfather Casey McCulloch; stepsister Diane Price and Niece Kari Cook.

The family has chosen cremation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
