Michael Thacker

Michael Dean Thacker, 74 of Clinton, passed away March 31, 2026 at his home. He was born April 23, 1951 in Canada, Kentucky.

He is preceded in death by his parents App & Naoma Thacker; brothers Kenneth Williamson, Ronnie Thacker, Chester Thacker, Gene Paul Thacker, Gregg Thacker; sisters Lois Reed, Gail Thacker, Mary Jane, Opal Thacker, and Mary Williamson.

He leaves behind wife of 57 years, Emma Sue Thacker; children Keith Thacker – Cynthia Acosta, App Brian Thacker – Alicia Noe, Melissa (Scott) Trew, Michelle (Michael) Vann, Ira (Kaitlyn) Thacker, Michael Ross (Brooke) Thacker, Benji (Heather) Case; brother Gary (Janet) Thacker; grandchildren Shelby (Colby) Kimberlain, Bree (Cameron Nelson) Thacker, McKenzie Thacker, Mikayla Dotson, Brady Farr, Michael Vann, Mika Vann, Reece Thacker, Ira Lee Thacker, Ryker Thacker, Mya Holloway, Tristan (Chelsea) Farr, Preslyn Miller, Pailyn Miller, William (Courtney) Trew, Johannah Horton, Billy Jo Barnes and Brian McMahan, Shaylee (Raylan) Boyd; great grandchildren Casen Futrell, Collin Kimberlain, Elias Kimberlain, Tyler Farr, Lainey Jo Farr, Lainey Anne Trew, and Chloe Nelson, Dalton (Winter) McMahan, Chloe McMahan, Lindsey (Sarah) Keathly, Whitney Keathly, and Kimberly Keathly; extended family and friends Ryan Futrell, Billy Farr, Alfreda Dotson, O’Sheilds Family, Marlena Mallett, Boonie (Ophie) Runyon and Angie Thacker; and a host of nieces, nephews.
