Mildred Henry, of Wartburg, TN

On January 30, 2023, Mildred Henry, age 92, moved to her heavenly home to live forever with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a devoted mother who loved her children with such a passion that she could barely contain it. Her love was immeasurable, and her family was her world.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Quenton; two sons, Quenton (Dickey) and Jeff Henry; and beloved son-in-law, Kirk Adams; parents, Charles Smith, Farley and Pearl Davis; brothers and sister; Paul, W.C., Junior Smith, and Violet Gunter.

She leaves behind her daughter and caregiver, Tammy Adams; Daughters-in-law, Mary Lou and Judy Henry; grandchildren, Summer Henry, Todd (Kellye) Henry, Tamekka (Corey) Keathley, Skylar Adams, and Megan Henry (Caleb); seven great grandchildren: Nevaeh, Emma, Elijah, Sawyer, Reese, Brynlee, and Mallory. Also, her best friend, Jo Tilson and very special friend, Ruby. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and her church family.

Mildred was a very special lady and was loved by all who met her. She will be missed so dearly. Especially by her daughter.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Schubert Funeral Home , Wartburg, from 1-2 PM with funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ralph Nance and Bro. Randall Landrum officiating. Interment will follow in the family cemetery in Sunbright (Mill Creek).
