Minnie Lavender

Mrs. Minnie Divine Lavender, born April 9, 1917, left this life March 6, 2010 at the age of 92 surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Adams Hill Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Lavender; parents: Tommy and Maggie Adams; two sons-in-law: Tony Durham of Dripping Springs and Arie Robbins of Chestnut Ridge; one brother, five sisters, two grandsons, one great, grandson, and one great, great grandsons.

She is survived by two daughters: Frances Durham of Dripping Springs and Fern Lavender of Chestnut Ridge, ten grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, two brothers: Myrl and James Adams; and two sisters: Mayvone Adkins and Dean Lowery.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 8th 2010 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 10th at 1:00 p.m. est. at Hill View Baptist Church in Chestnut Ridge with Bro. Freddie Melton and Bro. Danny Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Adams Hill Cemetery.
