Reba Shannon

Reba Lee Shannon, 80, of Helenwood, TN formerly of Sunbright, TN passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015. She was born on June 21, 1935 in the Wolf Creek Community of Scott County. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie England; son, Earl Shannon, and many other relatives.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Amous Shannon; sons, Roger Shannon and wife Katherine of Murfreesboro, Tn, Ronald Shannon of Helenwood, Tn, Dennis Shannon of Sunbright, Tn; and one daughter, Melissa Shannon Griffith and husband Bob of Helenwood, Tn; one sister, Ann Lowery of Oliver Springs, Tn.; 7 grandchildren: Amy Flick, Lisa Truett, Ashley Bee Hughett, Trevor Bee, Janette Slaven, Monica Clouse, Leslie Chambers; and 9 great grandchildren.

The Family will receive friends Wednesday December 2, 2015 at Schubert Funeral home in Sunbright, Tn from 4-7. Funeral services will follow at 7pm with Bro. Larry Waters and Bro. Tim Russell officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11AM at Sunbright Cemetery.
