Richard GRAAFSMA

Mr. Richard (Rick) Graafsma, age 88, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2009, at his home in Wartburg. He was a member of Sunbright United Methodist Church and a retired automotive engineer. He was also an Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Eunice; daughters: Margie Lake and husband, Ron of Idaho, and Janet Cooper and husband, Mike of Michigan; son: Steve Graafsma and wife, Lisa of Idaho; step-children: John Miller and wife Kim of Pennsylvania, Kristin Miller of Sunbright, and Jeff Miller of Pennsylvania; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Sunbright United Methodist Church with Pastor John Slater officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the church.
