Robin Clipson

Robin Douglas Clipson, age 56 passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 at home after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Anchorage, Alaska on March 9, 1957. He was a deacon at Piney Baptist Church in Oakdale, TN and a valued employee of Walmart in Rockwood, TN. He is preceded in death by his Father; Charles Raymond Clipson, Mother Harriet Porter and Step-Father; Allen Porter.

Rob is survived by his loving wife of 31 years: Mary Disney Clipson
Daughters: Robyn Langley and husband, Travis Langley, and Rachael Clipson
Step-Son: Jonathan Stambaugh
Grandchildren: Lorelai and Josiah Langley
Two Brothers: Bruce Clipson and Brady Porter
Sister-in-law: Nadine Clipson
Brother -in-law: Jim Disney and wife Tracy
Mother-in-law: Margaret Disney

The family will receive Friends Monday, June 10, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Piney Baptist Church, Oakdale with Bro. Jim Disney and Bro. Pat McGee officiating. Interment will be in the Piney Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 12:00 to 1:00pm.
