Rodney Ezra Jones

Rodney Ezra Jones, age 48 of Knoxville, formerly of New York. Unexpectedly passed away on December 17, 2025. Rodney had the best heart, and he loved his children dearly. Rodney had a million-dollar smile. He could make you laugh for hours.

Rodney was the son of Rev. Dr. Herbert and Evelyn Jones.

He is preceded in death by both his parents and sister, Blondie Motley Jones.

Rodney is survived by his children Leah, Rodney, and Bentley Jones

Former wife and mother of his children Amanda Davis.

Brothers; Cornelius (Cornbread) and David Jones.

Special cousin; David Taylor and many more family and friends.

Rodney will be missed by all who knew him.

The family is honoring Rodney’s wishes to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
