Sallie Jansch of Wartburg, TN

Sallie Mimms Jansch, age 94 passed away Friday August 18, 2017.

She was born July 25, 1923 in Palatka, Fla...  She had lived in Wartburg for 71 years

And was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was retired from Union Carbide/ Y-12

Oak Ridge after 36 years of service. She attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Charlie R. Jansch,

Parents; Vernon and Mamie Mimms, brother; Vernon Mimms, brother-in-law; Gene Igou

She is survived by her daughter; Becky Jansch and son-in-law Jim Whaley

Sisters; Mary Lawing (Wendell), Dru  Igou.

Step-grandchildren; Cindy Whaley  Dockins (Kenny) and Matt Whaley.

Nieces; Mary Rad, Jenny Deboliac, Penny Lawing.

Nephews; Rick Igou, Mike Lawing and Vernon Mimms III.

Graveside services will be Tuesday August 22, 2017, 4:00 p.m. in Wartburg City Cemetery, Wartburg, TN with Chaplin James Dunn officiating.
