Samuel Hood

Samuel Jeffery "Jeff" Hood, age 53 of the Stephens Community, lost his battle with cancer at his home on Saturday, November 7, 2015 with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Hood, grandparents: Sam & Pearl Hood and Levi & Anna Massengill, sister: Debbie Hensley.

He leaves to cherish his memory his Mother: Betty Lynn and step-father: Gene Lynn
Sons: David & Jerrod Hood
Sister: Becky Hensley
Brother: Mike Jones
He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was a man with a kind heart and loved everyone, as everyone loved him.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 9, 2015 from 5-7 pm Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm with Bro. Ralph Nance officiating. Graveside services will be Tuesday 2 pm Stephens Cemetery, Stephens Community.
