Sandra J. Solomon, of Oakdale, TN

Sandra J. Solomon, age 69, of Oakdale, TN, left this world of pain Wednesday March 20, 2019 at Park West Hospital in Knoxville, TN. She was a Loving mother, nana, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, McCalister (Mack) and Betty Armes of Oakdale; her husband of 30 plus years, Houston E. Smith; and husband Elmer Solomon.

She is survived by her three children and their spouses: David Christopher (Jennifer) Smith, Teresa (Chris) Davis, and Dwayne (Beverly) Smith, all of Georgia; three grand children: Michaela and Kristen Davis and Cassidy Smith; siblings: Walter “Rick” and Sheri Armes, Dennis (Frankie) Armes, Patricia “Trish” (Bob) Phillips, Trula (Gene) Hall, Terry (Cathy) Armes, Jerry Armes, Mack (Charlene) Armes, and Bertha (John) Bonham; special friends, Linda and Merlie Tilson; special aunt, Barbara Macklin and Uncle Bunk Stringfield; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday March 23rd, 2019 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. The funeral service will follow at 5:30 with Bro. John Bonham officiating.
