Sherry Reed

Sherry Reed age 60, of the Coal Hill Community went home to be with the Lord, Sunday December 14, 2025 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with Kidney Disease. Sherry was born April 14, 1965 in Scott County. She was the daughter of the late Mack and Columbia Harness. She was a member of the Armes Chapel Baptist Church in Wartburg. Sherry was always an active member in Church. She loved singing and sang in a group with her mom, two aunts, and also with Cousin Tammy for many years. She was also a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was always close to the Children in Church.

Sherry loved her family, but most of all her nieces and nephews. She spent a lot of time with them while they were growing up. She also loved gardening and working in her yard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first Husband: Marty Reed; Brothers: David Harness, and Rodney Harness; Nephews: Brian Overton, Andrew Overton, and Jordan Chambers.

She is survived by her Fiancé: Bill Satterfield of Mossy Grove; Sister: Sharon Overton and Charles of Deer Lodge; Brothers: Michael Harness and Tommie, and Dwight Harness and Waynette both of Coal Hill; Sister: Theresa Chambers and Jack of Helenwood; Brother: Randy Hutson and Tammy of Pioneer; Sister-in-law: Donna Reed and Chuck of Helenwood; She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and host of other friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 19, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Bro. Brady Goad and Bro. Dudley Harness officiating. Burial to follow in the Mack and Columbia Harness Memorial Cemetery in Coal Hill Community.

Pallbearers will be: Jackie and Riley Norris, Matthew, Gabe, Dylan, Chad Overton, Forrest Chamber, and Azekiel Harness.
