Thelma Garrett

Mrs. Thelma A. Garrett, age 89 of Harriman passed away June 3, 2012. She was a member of Elizabeth Church where she served as Church Clerk and Sunday School Secretary for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband: Gillum Garrett, parents: Ben and Elsie Hines Jacks and sisters: Aileen Hamby and Helen Hurst.

Mrs. Garrett is survived by Sons: Ronald Garrett of Harriman and Gerald and wife Karen Garrett of Lima, Ohio
Brother and Sister-in-law: Ben Jr. and Aileen Jacks of Albany, Georgia
Three Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren
Several nieces, nephews and special care-giver and friend Regina Wall

The Family will receive friends Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 6 to 8:00pm at Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow at 8:00pm with Rev. Buster Armes officiating. Graveside Services will be in the Elizabeth Cemetery, Lancing on Wednesday, June 7, 2012 at 11:00am.
