Vickie Adkins

April 12, 1972 — December 17, 2025

Deer Lodge

Vickie Lynn Adkins, age 53, of Deer Lodge went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2025. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother who exemplified strength, love, and unwavering faith.

Born April 12, 1972 to the late Trudy Berry & Willis Brown, the only daughter out of 5 sons, Vickie learned the values of resilience and hard work from an early age. She carried the lessons of her upbringing throughout her entire life, never forgetting where she came from. It was this foundation that shaped her character and her profound reliance on God. Trusting in Jesus as her Savior, April 2007, her life was a testament to her deep and personal relationship with Jesus, providing her with the strength to overcome any challenge and the grace to love unconditionally.

Vickie dedicated her life to her family, a commitment she cherished above all else. She was the beloved high-school sweetheart and wife of 35 years to Jerry Adkins. Their marriage, a beacon of enduring companionship built on love. As a loving mother to Keisha and Preston, she poured every ounce of her being into ensuring they felt cherished, supported, and guided by a moral compass rooted in faith and love. Her role as a grandmother to six grandchildren was her greatest joy, and she leaves behind a legacy of warm hugs, cherished stories, and the knowledge that they were deeply loved and cherished.

Vickie will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her generous heart, and the warmth of her smile that lit up every room she entered. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel seen and valued without uttering a word. Her presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life was a beautiful example of how one can rise above circumstance and create a life rich in love, faith, and Grace.

She is preceded in death by her mother Trudy Berry and husband Frankie; Father Willis Brown; mother and father-in-law J.L. And Dorothy Adkins; grandson Dalton Vann Daugherty; Nephew Isaac Human.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry Adkins; her children, Keisha Daugherty and Husband Dustin, Preston Adkins and wife Abigail.
