Wanda Watson

Mrs. Wanda "Hopie" Watson, age 78, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at her home in Caryville. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Watson; mother and father, Calvin and Hazel Rich; step-son, Darrell Watson; two infant sons; and sister, Sally Bell.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law: Quenten and Sandy Rich of Kingston; son and daughter-in-law: Dale and Gina Watson of Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law: Lora and Bryan Duncan of Harriman; and daughter and son-in-law: Lisa and Bryan Phillips of Caryville; a host of grandkids; and four great, grandkids: Neveah, Aiden, Jackie, and Xzavier.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 18, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Charles Webb officiating. Interment will follow in the Covington Church Cemetery, Wartburg.
