Wendell "Wade" Maden of the Gobey community

Mr. Wendell Wade  Maden, age 75 of the Gobey community, entered his heavenly home, May 5, 2018, after a long bout with Alzheimers.

Wendell Wade was preceded in death by his parents: James and Savannah McCartt Maden; Sisters: Winnie Landrum, Selma Smith, Ada Parrish, and Osa Maden; and brother, Arnold Maden

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Kay Stubbs Maden; daughter, Pamela and husband, Kevin Rudnitzki; and son, James W. Maden.

Granddaughters: Rachael and husband, Brett Peery; Vanessa and fiancé, Tyler Thomas; and Samantha Rudnitzki.

Great grandson, Nicholas Lucca Peery; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 7th, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 with Bro. Buster Armes officiating. Interment will follow in the Elizabeth Cemetery with military honors.
