Wesley W. Hamrick

Wesley Kainan Wade Hamrick, age 28, passed away suddenly on May 2, 2026, at his home in Oliver Springs, TN. He was born July 7, 1997 in Cortez, Colorado to Laura Sword and Wesley Hamrick, Sr.

He was known as Wesley to friends and coworkers but his family affectionally called him Kainan. Kainan loved to travel and he loved nature. He was stubborn and strong-willed but would give you the shirt off of his back. He loved to camp, fish, and hike. He felt deeply for the people around him and called most people his friends. Kainan loved his dog, Timex, and his cat George. He was charismatic and bright and always made us laugh.

Kainan had no wife or children but was survived by six sisters and two brothers. He is also surived by his mother, father, stepparents, maternal and paternal grandparents as well as his maternal great grandma.

The family will have a Celebration of Life on Friday, May 8, 2026 at the American Legion Hall in Wartburg from 1:00-6:00 p.m.
