Wilbur Sheridan

Wilbur Dean Sheridan, age 69 of Lancing passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Parkwest Hospital, Knoxville. He was retired from the Department of Energy. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in Vietnam and also served on the ship USS America. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth Sheridan; siblings, Jim, Sue, Janice, Sandra and daughter, Deena Rose.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Diane Sheridan of Lancing; granddaughters, Kadie and Desiri Rose; 1 great granddaughter, Evelyn Rose; siblings, Mac and Richard of MO; also a passel of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 3:00 to 5:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg.
