William Goad

Mr. William Goad, age 101 of Deer Lodge passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Scott Goad; parents: Otis and Mary Walker Goad; brothers: Het, Homer, and Jones; and sisters: Minnie Adkins, Julia Goad, and Pernia Barger.

He is survived by daughter, Betty Weber (James) of Mt. Juliet and Barbara Hutson (Perry) of Deer Lodge; sons: Billie Joe Goad (Mattie) of Sunbright, Bernard Goad of Deer Lodge, and Jack Goad (Bonnie) of Burrville; Grandchildren: James Weber, Jr., John Weber, Alexis Goad, Laurinda Gayle Goad, Gloria Suzanne Goad, William Wilkinson, and Brian Goad; great, grandchildren: Megan Weber, Lilly and Briley Goad, and Matthew, Zachary, and Ian Weber.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 30th from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Sunbright. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Edwin Cloud officiating. Interment will follow in the Annadale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
