Of Lancing, TN
Wilva Potter Nelson, age 83, was born in Potter’s Chapel to George and Mary Potter. She made her home with her husband and daughters in Clear Creek (Lancing) where she was a home maker and enjoyed sewing and crafting.
She was preceded in death by her wonderful husband of 66 years, John Nelson; parents, George Washington and MaryAnn Potter; mother and father-in-law, Doshie Davis and Swell Nelson; and a host of brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughters: Robin (George) Potter, Sue Nelson (Scott) Jones, and Jessica Nelson (Ronnie) Edwards; grandchildren: Candace (Jason) Odell, Ashley (Jessy) Stedam, Timmy (Valerie) Potter, Seth (Kayla) Potter, Isaac (Samantha) Potter, and Jake Edwards; great-grandchildren: Lettie Stedam, Xavier, Zeb, and Aivley Potter, Wyatt and Luna Potter and Alivia Odell (Nick) Suddath.
The family will hold a private graveside service with a memorial service to be scheduled at a later date.
