Woody Adkisson, of Petros, TN

Woody Dean Adkisson passed away July 24, 2019.  He was born February 28, 1942.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Lily Adkisson; brothers, Harold, Don and Larry Adkisson; sisters, Mazie Thornton and Nick Wormsley.

He is survived by his sisters, Lana (Jerald) Taylor and Nella Rhea Harris; nephews, Gregory “Snake” Adkisson, Brad Adkisson, Keith Adkisson and Terry “Saw” Adkisson and a host of nieces and extended family members.

The family will receive friends Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 12:00-2:00 p.m. funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Don Long officiating.  Interment will follow in the Petros Cemetery with full military honors, American Legion 149.
