Mayvone Adkins of the Chestnut Ridge community

Mayvone Cansadie Adkins “Ma”, age 91 born June 2, 1928 to Tommy and Maggie Adams passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth Adkins; parents, Tommy and Maggie Adams; sisters, Reba Robbins, Minnie Lavender, Myrtle Newman, Maxine Hall, Margie Davis and Marybell Robbins; brothers, Albert Adams and James Adams.

She is survived by her daughter, Gail (John) Hammond; son, Kenny (Delores) Adkins; grandsons, Rex (Kim) Plemons, Cody (Taylor) Adkins, Dallas (Jordyn) Adkins and Douglas (Keri) Adkins; granddaughters, Tammie (Mike) Winningham and Alyssia (Josh) Randol; great grandchildren, Brandon (Kaila Anne) Plemons, Kindra (Jason) Walker, Brody Winningham, Parker Winningham and Jasper Randol; great great grandchildren, Breanna, Casidy, Alivia, Gunner and Gus; sister, Dean Lowery; brother, Myrl (Connie) Adams; sister-in law, Brenda Adams and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Charles Webb and Bro. Malcom Strong officiating.  Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Adams Hill Cemetery in Deer Lodge.
