Pilar Reynolds of Oakdale, TN

Pilar N. Reynolds, age 70, of Oakdale, TN, went home to be with the Lord at 11:19 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2021.  She was with family at her passing.  She was born in Legaspi City Philippines, September 19, 1950.  She later moved to Manila Philippines where she met her late husband, Clarence Reynolds, Jr. of Oakdale who served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

She is survived by her 4 children, daughter Jennette Lopez of Crossville, TN; son, Clarence Reynolds III of Kingston, TN;  son, Joey Lynn Reynolds of Rockwood, TN; daughter, Jennifer Renae Gooch of Douglasville, GA.  She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Reynolds was a long-time resident of Oakdale, TN since leaving her childhood home in the Philippines at the age of 18.  She became a nurse and physical therapist here in the United States.  She loved helping others.

She enjoyed being with family and friends and singing on her karaoke machine.  She loved talking to others and telling them stories of her childhood.  She also loved to draw and make arts and crafts.  She loved being with her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed life to the fullest.  She was a loving mother; very kind and tender hearted.  She would help who she could and prayed for all.  Her faith in the Lord was strong and unwavering, as she has gone home to be with the Lord.  She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.  She leaves behind precious memories in the hearts of her family and friends.  We love you Mom.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 22, 2021, at the Bible Baptist Church in Harriman, Tn. from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 11:30 p.m. with Pastor Glenn Leffew officiating.  Interment will follow in the Reynolds Family Cemetery in Oakdale, TN.
