Rickey "Waynie" Phillips, of Wartburg, TN

Rickey “Waynie” Phillips, age 41 passed away March 20, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Phillips; brother, Eric Phillips; grandfathers, Howard Jones and Earl Phillips.

He is survived by his father, Rickey Dean Phillips; daughter, Brooklyn Basler; nephews, Dillion and Kyler; niece, McKenzie that he loved dearly.

Waynie was a hard-working logger with a very generous heart.  He loved football especially the Tennessee Titans.  He loved to be outdoors with a fishing pole in hand.  Waynie was one of a kind!  He will be missed dearly by all that loved him.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 12:00-1:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Myrl Phillips officiating.  The family will have a private graveside service.
