Obituary

Bertie LaRue, age 82 of Deer Lodge, went home to be with the Lord on January 16th, 2021, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by family and friends. She was a loving mother and grandma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard LaRue; daughter, Sally Hawn; and brothers, Hershel and Luther Scott.

She is survived by her children: Judy Hawn and husband, Marion of Deer Lodge; Sue Matheson and husband, Jerry of Wartburg; Kenny LaRue, and wife, Susan of Deer Lodge; Marty LaRue and wife, Linda of Wartburg; Jeff LaRue and wife, Carla of Deer Lodge; and bonus son, Tony Moon of Madison, Georgia. Eleven grandchildren and 22 great, grandchildren.

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness…” 2 Timothy 4:7-8

The family will receive friends Monday, January 18^th from 5-7 PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Bro. Roy Langley Officiating. A graveside service will be Tuesday, January 19^th at 11 AM in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Deer Lodge.
